Professor O.O. Fafioye, a renowned academic in the Department of Zoology and Environmental Biology bagged his B.Ed (Hons), M.Sc and Ph.D degrees from University of Ibadan, Ibadan Oyo State, Nigeria. He joined the services of the then Ogun State University (now Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago-Iwoye) in May 1992 as an Assistant Lecturer and through a dint of hard work, resilience and perseverance became a Professor in 2013. He has over 100 publications in both local and international journals to his credit. He has participated in various scientific fora (both on and off shore) to present his findings. He has supervised over 110 undergraduate projects, 45 master degree dissertations and 3 Ph.D theses. He presented the 89th Inaugural Lecture on the 11th of June, 2019 titled “FISH AND WATER: THE CONJOINED RESOURCES FOR HEALTHY HUMAN LIVING AND VIABLE ENVIRONMENT”
