Biography
DR. I. B. ONAJOBI is a Senior Lecturer and once, a Postgraduate Coordinator at the Department of Microbiology, Faculty of Science, Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago- Iwoye, Ogun State, Nigeria. He obtained the Award ‘Certificate of Merit in Ahmed Bello University, Zaria’ in the year 2007. He is also a beneficiary of the Sao Tome and Principe Scholarship Award in 2008. ONAJOBI is a Fellow of Science Academy for the Developing World, 2009. His research interest includes Biotechnology, Microbiology, Nanotechnology and Structural Biology. He has published several research articles in both international and local journals of repute which cover topics related to food security, consumer protection, discovery of novel natural compounds and improvement of environmental sustainability. Presently, his research focus is on antimicrobial compounds and bioactive metabolites from different natural sources.
