Biography

Dr. (Mrs.) Salisu Titilola Fausat (nee Adedayo) had a Ph.D., MSc and BSc. in Cell Biology and Genetics from the Department of Cell Biology and Genetics, University of Lagos, Akoka, Lagos State, Nigeria. She is a lecturer in the Department of Zoology and Environmental Biology, Olabisi Onabanjo University Ago-Iwoye, Ogun state, Nigeria. She is specialized in interdisciplinary areas cutting across Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, Genetics, Biotechnology, Cardiovascular Diseases, Phytotherapy and Environmental Biology. Her quest for harnessing the potentials in native plants was evident in her BSc. and MSc projects as well as Ph.D. thesis. She is currently focusing on sustainable development goals research (SDG 4 and 13) to save the planet. She served as the vice president of Millenium development goals community development services (MDG CDS) during her NYSC (National Youth Service Corps) in 2008 and emerged the” Best Corps Volunteer – Millennium Development Goals Advocacy Project” in Kebbi-state, Nigeria. She has made a quite number of scientific publications and presentations at scientific conferences. She is happily married with three children.
