Biography

Professor Najeem Abiola Adesola Babarinde joined Ogun State University in 1991. He rose through the ranks to become a Professor of Biophysical Chemistry in 2016. He has served as Head of Department, Acting Director of SIWES, Visiting Professor, Assessor, and External Examiner to several Universities locally and abroad.

Awards/Fellowship

He is a Fellow of Training and Research in Italian Laboratories at the University of Parma, Italy. He is also a Fellow of Australian Institute of High Energetic Materials. He won Travel grant for workshop by the Abdus Salam International Centre for Theoretical Physics, Senate Research Grant of Olabisi Onabanjo University, and Research Grant by “Foundazione Cassa di Risparmio di Parma”, Parma, Italy. He was awarded Advanced Security in the Field Certificate of the United Nations Department of Safety and Security (2010). He has Meritorious Service Awards for serving as Assistant General Secretary.of OOU Academic Staff Cooperative Multipurpose Society Ltd.
