Candidates for admission into the Department must satisfy the University/Faculty requirements, that is, minimum of five Credit passes at ordinary level (O/L) or SSCE or NECO which must include English Language, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics and any other from Biology or Agricultural and Geography at NOT more than two (2) sittings.

The minimum UTME/Post-UTME score for admission into the Department shall be determined by the University Admission Committee
